The food was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak and my boyfriend had the catfish. I got macaroni and cheese and candied yams. He had macaroni and cheese and greens. All the food was great and I would love to come back. Here is the biggest issue. It took 45 minute for the food to come to our table. 45 MINUTES! There were 5 people in that kitchen. This place will not be opened long if they keep that service up. They need to have some food preparation happening with that many people in the kitchen. It makes me so sad when people go into buisness and have a great product that they can not exicute well. I am tempted to order over the phone and then go in to eat 30 minutes later. I really hope they fix this issue soon.

So. My experience stars.... Not great. I was not greeted when I entered the restaurant. I had no idea if it was open seating, or if I should just wait. Once I sat my self at an appropriate booth, the server was speedy to take my drink order. And to return to ask for my entree. My server was very nice through the whole process. The restaurant was probably half full, so not too busy, however, it took over 50 minutes to receive my food, Fried chicken, Mac and cheese, corn bread, and a salad. The food was AMAZING. 50 minutes in my opinion is a little too long for just fried chicken. Then, I had to ask for sauce twice to get it. Now, there was only one server on the floor the entire time I was there, so forgetting one sauce is not terrible. The employees were very nice but, not being greeted when I walked in was definitely not a great starting point. The great food and nice employees make up for the long wait. I will definitely add a star or 2 to my review if I come back and those negatives have changed. Great food! Good job kitchen. You guys did a great job.

The food was great. Young ladies were great too. It would've been nice if management walked, there was only a few of us there. That's where customer service counts. I'm going to continue to support black business & give my opinion for growth. Done only in love
