Catfish Cove

Catfish is nice but their sides are not the best. Red beans are mostly soup w/few beans and too expensive. Relish bar is not a good substitute for hot food which is what they offer. They really need to work on their other dishes.

The breading on the shrimp was excellent! The green beans were perfect without added salt. The salad had the traditional sweet slaw. Our server was the best and wait for our food was minimal. Our first visit was a great visit and we will frequent Catfish Cove.

A simple fried food restaurant. Good customer service and good food. Catfish is not in a traditional Southern lightweight cornmeal batter, but made with a crust instead.

Everything homemade -- including the tarter sauce and shrimp sauce. The catfish was light and delicious, the "relish bar" items were all good from the coleslaw to the homemade vanilla pudding. The red beans and rice was perfect. The prices are MORE THAN reasonable.

Been here a couple times. Food is fresh and hot. But this time it was a bit harder around the edges. It wasn't as soft as it's been before. Maybe due to new management. But still good
