Golden Chick

Made it all the way home and half of my order was wrong. So I loaded my kids back into car and drove back - irritated. However, the girl working the window was so sweet and polite; I could not stay mad. They remade my order and all was well. Double check your food, just in case. I do not eat here often, so I am not sure if this is a regular occurrence.

Golden Chick is a nice alternative to fast food. Fresh vegetables for side dishes. Roasted chicken low fat..but its delicious.

I haven't had such a good chicken dinner in a very long time. We got the family mixer. Tenders, chicken pieces, a couple sides and some rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy. The tenders were crispy. All the sides steaming and tasty Their gravy is a real star. This ain't your canned water gravy. This is real thick, real southern gravy. The staff here is really pleasant too. Manager on duty was very attentive of his guests and made sure we had all we needed. Will definitely be returning for chicken dinner.

This location is still considered new to me. The service has been fast and friendly with the times I've been. This time I ordered the Mixer. For some reason they haven't figured out that they can make spicy chicken by putting the same seasoning they put on the wings and strips to make them spicy. They do need to learn how to apply the seasoning evenly! There's always strips or wings without any seasoning on them. All and all good location without any issues.
