Salata

We miss having Soup or Salad in the area, so when Salata opened, we were really excited and couldn't wait to check it out.

You select the size bowl you want, then the type of Lettuce and all the toppings you could imagine..select the dressing..if you want bread or crackers and drink..the very friendly staff then mixes all the items together and you're ready to chow down.

I got the small salad and boy was it filling..and so fresh!

There is covered outside seating for when the weather isn't so hot.

Wow!!! Great addition to Mesquite! I love how fresh the ingredients are. It is a bit on the pricier side but it’s worth it!! I just get the small since I love to add a lot of flavorful ingredients and my favorite sauce the jalapeño avocado and chipotle ranch and the spicy chicken is so good!! I love the freshness compared to other places I have tried. I recommend 100%. Also, download the app to take advantage of those points you earn :)

Food is good! A little pricey, but good! The inside of the restaurant seemed a little messy though. There was at least 3 pretty large puddles of water on the floor. I was able to take a picture of one. I almost slipped on one going to the drink counter. No wet floor signs anywhere.

A refreshing option for a late lunch on a hot Texas day. Create your own salad with fresh ingredients and a large variety of options. Situated directly across from Town East Mall in the Market East shopping center makes this a great location. Salata is surrounded by major retail and is moments from I 635 and Hwy 80. If you’re looking for a healthy food option, look no further. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was brightly lit with vibrant colors, the service was very good and the salad was delicious (was it the fresh ingredients or the fact that I made it ☺️?). A combination of both I suppose. The patio was beautiful but the Texas heat took that option off the table. Misting fans would be a great addition to that beautiful space.
