Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet

This place USED to be so much better. It is average at best, now. If you really like good Mediterranean food, go around the corner to Ali Baba....much FRESHER, TASTIER, & MORE VARIETY!! You can thank me later.

The food is amazing! The atmosphere is nice. Does get a bit warm when busy tho. They keep it really clean. Even with everyone having their individual talking, its not too loud to be annoying. The meats have really nice flavoring. Definitely coming back, and with more people to try it!????

Food was fresh and tasted great.. lots and lots to choose from... even for the kids... desserts were on point and fresh... the gyro are really tasty one of my favorites... lots of seating. Just beware If you are eating and leave your FULL plate of food on the table to get a drink or something the guy might come by and clean it up thinking you were done...

I have decided to give it 3 stars not because of service or food quality all of those things are great. I rate it at 3 stars because this is a buffet but the line set up is such that you must stand in a line waiting for a the new patrons to decide what they want before you are allowed to move to the specific item you are returning to the line to get second servings. It should reflect the typical buffet setup to allow for easy movement and selection from dual sides of the line. Other than that I enjoy the food and the service for the staff.

I try to have lunch here every time I visit Richardson because the food is excellent and there is such a great variety so everyone will find something they will like. I had dinner here for the first time and it was also very good (appeared to be the same selection as lunch and that's fine). The food is delivered as a buffet so no menus. I like this because you get to try different types of food and when you find one you really like, you can get seconds! The rice pudding is the best I've ever had.
