Salata

I work across the street and visit this Salata at least once a week. They reopened a few weeks ago and I was so happy! The employees all wear gloves and masks so I feel safe ordering take out. Pro tip- write “please mix in dressing” in the comment section if you order online and they’ll toss the salad- otherwise dressing will be on the side!

The employees are always friendly and helpful. A mainstay in particular has been Katherine- she gives better service than I’d expect at a 5-star restaurant and is always there to give suggestions and offer substitutions for any product they are sold out of (they make everything fresh so it’s not just a matter of opening a package to get more, which is a trade off I am certainly okay with to get better quality ingredients). They were out of honey mustard and she recommended a mix of the buttermilk ranch and Caesar... I’m in love! It’s so good and will be my new go to. Thanks Katherine and Salata! You’ve got yourself a lifetime customer here!

So far i have been there twice. I am really glad that they opened up. I am not used to buying salads or wraps from a place like that but the environment is very clean, the employees are nice and the food is always delicious. They put just the right amount of protein of your choice (turkey, chicken, shrimp) and they have a plethora of other ingredients that you can add. I didnt think the protein would be enough but once you add lettuce, tomatoes, corn, spinach, and everything it is VERY fulfilling, it also comes with pita chips on the side and i never knew pita chips could be so delicious. Definitely will continue to return

Went to the grand opening and loved my salad! Affordable, variety of greens available, so many toppings. Everything was fresh and delicious and employees were so friendly. The multi-grain croissant was so good. I see myself coming here all the time. Just so sad I barely missed the super cute t-shirts that I would wear on all my salad jaunts.

Pros : Big portion sizes, lots of options for toppings, very friendly staff, fast and efficient service

Cons: I'm sure each ingredient is measured to stick to caloric values, I wonder if they adjust the amount depending on the size of the salad. As large salads were offered, the ingredients seemed a bit scant. In the end, I was left with a very big bowl of lettuce and a 'suggestion' of the toppings I'd chosen. I honestly forgot I'd asked for feta cheese until nearly half way through when I went actively looking for it.

Tip: Although they mix your bowl, maybe give it another toss to find those hidden ingredients.

Overall a good experience, and I would recommend it.
