Lakewood Cafe

SO GLAD MY FAMILY AND I FOUND THIS PLACE IN ROWLETT! It's local and great because of the convenience to where we live. My family and I LOVE breakfast diners (and breakfast in general) therefore my family and I have a list of all the places we absolutely love to get breakfast at and this one is on it!! Most of ours are in Dallas such as Cindi's, Cracker Barrel, Norma's to name a few...but this place AND Dalrock Diner are tough competitors to Dallas because of how great the food and service is! The service is quick, the food is delicious (I'm not kidding when I say this either), and the workers are absolutely nice! We probably come here at least 2-3 times a month...typically on the weekends.

I always get the chicken fried steak and have never been disappointed. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I go there every time I am in Rowlett.

Great breakfast, fantastic staff! It looked fairly busy when we pulled in but we were seated right away. The waiter was great and happy to explain the menu once we told him it was our first time there. 3 people eating was just over $35 and we all left stuffed!

Food is excellent and service is A1 and so friendly! Taste of food was the best. Very reasonable prices! Great location! Go soon and enjoy!

Great place for breakfast. I'm sure there lunch food is good too, but I keep ordering breakfast every time I go. It's nice to have a sit down breakfast option that's better than the chain places like IHOP and Denny's.
