Hacienda del Centro

I tried the Ouaxaqueñas and it was a delicious meal. It was only missing some cheese, but that was easily remedied. The margaritas were delicious. We were here for a gathering of friends, and enjoyed the food and surroundings. The parking could be improved a bit though!

I enjoyed this place. The food was good and out waiter was incredibly friendly and i liked the atmosphere. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is 1.) I ordered fajitas and they sat so long before being delivered that they were no longer sizzling. I saw others getting theirs and they were hot and sizzling. 2.) My husband ordered 2 drinks (bourbon) and was charged $48! I was shocked to say the least. It was not even top shelf whiskey. That's probably enough to keep us from going back, as he likes to have a couple drinks with dinner, but we're not interested in paying such high prices.

Excellent food and service. It's a historical building turned into a restaraunt. A little small, but very cute and not a long wait.

We have kids, 4 and 8, and they loved it too. Definitely going back!

I read some of the negative reviews and all I have to say is total BS. I think they have the best cheese enchiladas going. Love their beans and rice good flavor. Taco is a Taco. Margaritas are fine. Flan, one of the best around. Set at the bar....love Natalie. She is friendly, attentive and a knowledgeable bartender. Yes parking sucks. You have to get there before 5 but I would put it up against anything else Rowlett is rolling out.
