Settler's Table

UPDATE:
So, we have been back to this restaurant several times since my initial review, and they have really improved. I know it's tough when you're just getting started, so I wanted to make sure I did an update to be fair. First off, their hamburgers are fantastic! It's what I get every time I go. The service has improved incredibly and the staff is very friendly. I updated my review to 5 stars because they have done so much better. I love going to this restaurant!

I'm not going to be too tough on these guys because they are new and working out the kinks. We went in for dinner tonight and I ordered a burger and my husband ordered fish and chips. About 20 minutes later I get my burger, but no fish. I continue to eat and am finished with my meal and still no fish. By this time my husband is so upset that he tells them not to bring it and we had to get him food elsewhere. This is really bad, new or not. If anything, just don't bring my food until his is ready and make up for it by comping a drink or something. But we got nothing to make up for this, which made it worse. I'm sure we'll go back in a few eventually because the food we did get was pretty good, but probably going to be a while.

This is the fourth time I’ve been to Settler’s Table and each time it has been amazing. However, last night they made it special. They greeted us with much enthusiasm and friendly smiles. The staff, as always, were attentive, polite and just awesome! We tried their new mocktail “Hippie Soda” and we are now ADDICTED! Definitely ordering it again! The Settler Salmon, the Sirloin and Chicken Fingers were all delicious meals. They never disappoint.

It was my birthday and in the notes for the reservation I put that I was excited to enjoy their homemade chocolate cake. The waitress told me that they reserved a slice just for me! I was amazed at their attention to detail as well as their above and beyond service. Thank you all again for making my birthday special! The Settler’s Table is a restaurant filled with wonderful people and delectable food.

The atmosphere was nice and the server/s were friendly. I would recommend the Chicken fingers and their mashed potatoes. However, their Tequila Lime Grilled Chicken was rather small and dry for the price. And the beans tasted like it came from a can. I think they can do a better job here. Overall it was a good experience. We will come back again.

1st time visitor as this is a new restaurant. They still have some things to work out but overall this will be a place I will return to for dinner. I ordered the Salmon & it was very good, cooked perfectly, crusted with pistachios! The portion size was perfect & the 2 sides were just right too. No super size on the plate which is nice in my opinion! My friend had the Settler's burger which was very good as well. Grass fed beef & again the serving of the fries was just right. Her husband had the Sunnyvale Sirloin which was awesome too. For dessert we ordered 1 piece of pie..the French Coconut & it was delicious.The slice of pie was larger than expected & it was still warm as it was fresh out of the oven! The owners are on site & working too...their daughter also. It's definitely family oriented.Very friendly atmosphere & they even say " We're all Family at the Settler's Table" Although they have a bar they only have beer & wine & it's a small selection at this time. But I will definitely be returning to the Settler's Table!
