Golden Chick

I've eaten here, ordered take out and driven through. I don't recommend using the drive through because it's super-tight and the highway is loud. Chicken tenders and pieces are freshly cooked and tasty. The catfish is some of the best around - no muddy taste at all. It is cooked to order so you'll have to wait a bit longer for it to arrive than the chicken. The staff is friendly and well trained in customer service.

Update 10/2018 Staff and procedures have changed and I've dropped a star in my rating. Food is cooked and waiting for customers to order. Stale food is not something I'll pay full price for.

Update 04/2019 Thanks for taking my criticism seriously. I try to base my evaluation on trends and not one off visit. I began visiting again in January and am happily enjoying freshly cooked catfish.

Color me shocked! Hubs and I dropped in for lunch because it was close and quick. Food was delish, rolls were excellent and I gave them 5 stars even though they have Pepsi products. If you get the spicy just know that they aren't kidding, it's hot but good.

The food is good but needs to add brown gravy to the menu.

Only one we'll go to. You want good chicken? This is the place to go!

Stunningly marvelous. My breath was taken away when I was welcomed into this clean, friendly establishment. I've been to the Bahamas, but never felt this comfortable. God bless.
