KRAZY KATSU CURRY & UDON

So happy to try this delicious katsu place! I think it definitely has more Korean influence than Japanese but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t delicious! It’s tucked in a shopping square with a few other restaurants. It was pretty quiet when my spouse and I went.

I ordered the chicken katsu and my spouse ordered the pork. I loved how crispy the katsu was. The sauce was a little more on the sour side for my liking and the macaroni salad I just didn’t eat. It didn’t have a lot of flavor to begin with anyway. The dressing on the salad was so good though! The meals also came with a bowl of rice but I chose not to eat it.

Place wasn't crowded. I think we were the only ones there.We enjoyed the food. The katsu was a little meatless, but the curry, and udon was delicious. I wouldn't call this a restaurant, it felt more like a fast food in terms of service, but it wasn't a bad service. Since the place wasn't packed it was easy to call someone when we need it to. Overall the food was pretty good. I'll be back.

The katsu is very good here and perfectly cooked. You can choose between chicken, beef, and pork. They also have rice with a side bowl of curry sauce that I liked to mix together. They even check up on you at least once during your meal. They are friendly and provide good service. Love this place.

Good crispy breading, a lot of places get this wrong where it’s too thick or thin. Kind of wanted better flavor from the inside but it was still tender and the breading coming out well makes up for that for me.

If you’re 30 min out or something I wouldn’t make the trek but decent option if you’re nearby. Service was fine, K-pop playing if you’re into that. Vibe feels more like a dinner option compared to lunch but I’ll probably come back again and try more of the menu.
