Pho Big Bowl Carrollton

Great family owned business- mom’s spring rolls were crafted with care, like she was making them for family.
Phò was as perfect has I have ever had- on par with the mighty Tank Noodle in Chicago. Clean and super friendly staff rounded out one of the best meals I have had in Dallas.

I went today (10/6/2022) which is still during their soft opening. They had signs on the door about certain items that were not yet available, and a staff shortage which could lead to long waits. I went during lunch, but it was not very busy, and the service was great. No long wait, and the type of Pho I usually get (seafood) was available, so all good there.

The place is new, so it’s well kept, clean, new tables, etc. I had a few different people attend to me, and all were very nice and pleasant.

I started with the shrimp spring rolls and had the seafood pho for my entrée. Both were very good.

The prices were about what I have encounter at other casual dining type Pho restaurants.

I’ll qualify my review with the fact that I have no idea what “authentic” Pho is or tastes like. I have been eating this type of food in DFW for about 10 years now and have had it at quite a few different restaurants over the years. Pho Big Bowl is on par with what I have come to expect Pho to taste like. I know that doesn’t sound like a glowing endorsement, but next time I’m in the mood for Pho, and I am in the area (which is the area of my home) I will return to PBB.

Finally opened in Carrollton. Brand new and clean inside. Very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. Waitress was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Tried the pho combo, vermicelli with chargrilled pork and shrimp with egg rolls, traditional spring rolls, and special rice plate. Pho broth was very good and tendon was surprisingly very tender and soft. Spring rolls were very fresh tasting. Will definitely be back to try rest of menu items.

When we first came in, the atmosphere was nice, fresh and clean. Then, we sat down, I like their tablecloth, look clean and nice. We ordered Special Combination Pho, Grill Pork and shrimp Vermicelli Noodles and Thai Tea. Pho was tasty, their portion was big and a lot of tendon meat. The Thai tea was right sweet enough ( for my taste ). Oh did I mentioned their nice cups? Lol 😂 I love the cups❤️🤪. The Vermicelli Noodle was really good. Their shrimps were tasty and the meats were tendon. 👍
Overall, it’s good and I hope everyone give it a try and hope this good restaurant will grown in neighborhood. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great soft opening! We enjoyed lunch here and the staff was very accommodating to make sure we had a great time. I highly recommend getting tendon, it was so glutinous and soft. You could sip it through a straw. 😂 I added some homemade chili oil and it's spicy, just a few drops are needed to start. We also enjoyed the shrimp spring roll, and two hand squeezed limeades, and tea limeade. The tea limeade was my favorite. I'd come here just for the fresh drinks. A great addition to Carrollton for sure. Show them some love!
