Prairie House Restaurant

The food was very good. There were three of us; we all got something different and we all really enjoyed what we ordered.
Spacious seating areas. Rustic farm/ranch/western atmosphere. Comfortable. Relaxed.

Great food and service! If you've never been here, I'd highly recommend the chicken fried steak or the chicken fried chicken. The BBQ ribs are good, too... Don't forget about the Wagyu burger.

At times it gets noisy but that's just a bunch of people enjoying their dinner. ????

I had never been here before but just recently had the opportunity to go. The food was really subpar at the time we went, although the group we went with assured us it isn't always that way. Service was alright, but again we were assured it is usually much better. My 3 star rating is due to my experience for the night I went, and it is there tentatively because I believe it deserves a second chance. If I do go back and everything is great, I will absolutely update this rating. But as it stands now, this is simply reflecting my experience.

Good ole country comfort food. Fried catfish our chicken-fried steak are a good start. Great place for breakfast or brunch after church. Going back to try the Texas 2 or 3-side step plate. Ambiance is phenomenal for those into hunting game and old country paraphernalia. Loved it.

I have wanted to go to the Prairie House for the longest time and it was worth it when I went tonight. We went right after the evening rush. The restaurant has the cutest western character and charm. Our hostess was very polite. Our waiter did a fair job. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed it.
