Service was Superb, visited while at lunch hour and team worked quick & efficiently without lacking in professionalism.
Go back in time to 1967 and enjoy a small town Dairy Queen. Even the other customers were friendly and one wife's eye rolls at her husband were hilarious. Went at 6 pm so there was a small line, the cheerful long ladies helped each other out so even with hand written paper tickets things moved quickly.
1967 Texas was one of my favorite times as a kid DQ was a treat and as a fossil it was still a funny and tasty throw back. Maybe more than a treat because of the fast food disasters in between then and now. After sharing my feast with the hell hounds we got to the best part for two tiny dogs. Crushed ice in the tea, Dizzy Destroyer of Worlds loves crushed ice more than anything. Daisy wagged her tail enough so we didn't need A/C.
Thicker than current fries were perfect, burger meat was tender and juicy. Veggies were cool and crisp; Beltbusters have that perfect balance between all the fixings. Add a beautiful spring sunset after that last cold snap should remind us all it's a wonderful world.
Dairy Queen had been in business for as long as I have been on this earth that our Father created. Ordered The Belt Buster combo with the Trade mark Cherry Coke. Loved every bite and was so tempted to almost order a second round. If not for my losing weight I would have. Thanks for a great meal. Y'all still rock. You ought to be on the cover of The Rolling Stones Magazine.
The staff is very courteous and kind, willing to answer any questions you have about the menu. Did you not have a public soda fountain that they are willing and able to refill your drink as many times as you request. The customer seating was clean and plentiful as well as nothing seems broken or in poor repair. The restaurant in general is not the newest or fanciest design but it is the Dairy Queen Texans have come to expect.
