Los Toreros Restaurant

Me and my girlfriend would go to the movies regularly and would see this place. She is Mexican and didn't know what "Torero's" meant, so we made a joke that it meant "bullshitters." We decided to finally eat here and we have to say, with all honesty, this is one of, if not THE best Mexican cuisine in Denton. Our waiter, Alex, was highly knowledgeable of the menu, and the queso was some of the best I've had. I tend to judge a place on how well they do queso, and my girlfriend loved the fact that the chips always came out warm. We had enchiladas, the chipotle and green sauce, and as an enchilada snob I was very impressed. We tipped Alex real big for his awesome service and will certainly come back again.

Wow, this place rocks! The food is fresh and flavorful. My favorite are the vegetarian enchiladas - chock full of not-overcooked veggies. And make sure to layer on their tomatillo sauce, which is to DIE for!

The service is friendly and efficient; the ambiance is elegant; and the prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for? :-D

I've been here a few times and the food was good, service was terrible the 2nd time we went. It took over 5 mins to have our drink order taken, then it took forever to get our food. After we finished we asked for a to-go box and a to-go drink. The box was brought, but the drink forgotten. It took asking two more times to finally get the drink. However, I will say their Sunday brunch is incredible! They have an omlette station and waffle station and the food was awesome!
