Submarine Crab Denton

I put 5 stars for the fact that they have a good selection of shellfish and other foods. They have big group meals which I purchased for my friends. The food was cooked perfectly but I will say that our seasoning choice was rather bland. They have several others including plain salted butter. Which is always great for shellfish. Despite the rather bland seasoning we got it was still a very good meal.

I rarely give reviews, but I have to for this place! We have tried crab at all of the other local places between Denton, Frisco, Plano and we always come back to Submarine. We have probably gone 4 times in the last 2 weeks. We LOVE their Torpedo sauce and the taste of the seafood is much better than other places we have tried. Prices are pretty good too!

I took my Husband here for his 33rd birthday dinner. Our server was wonderful. We had a party of 15. My mother even made a cake that we brought in. The food was wonderful. They even places the candles and brought the cake out for us. They went above and beyond and changed the music to the happy birthday song. It was a wonderful experience. I'm not a fish eater at all. They made me fried rice with chicken instead of with shrimp. I tried the catfish and really liked it. I would recommend this place for sure.

Very friendly staff, service was great, wait time for food was not long at all, only problem I had was a lack of flavor in the shrimp I had in my Cajun Fried Rice. Other than that, everything was pretty amazing. The price you pay isn't anything compared to other restaurants that charge you 40-50$ for a basic boil. You get a lot of food for what you pay. I can see this place making it rather big and giving other restaurants a run for their money.
