Wow is this place good. My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and I have to say that we picked right! We were immediately stuck by how authentic and welcoming it was when we entered. LA and NOLA wall to wall. The menu is spot on for what you want to see at a Cajun joint, although the prices seem a tad high. Once we tried the food though, it was completely worth it. Bold flavors and so fresh! Can't recommend this place enough.
Had dinner their last night and found everything we had seen in the rave reviews and heard from friends who had already eaten there. Great food, I mean really incredible! Had Boudin Balls, Jambalaya and bread pudding - all were excellent (bread pudding is one of the best I have ever had - a must have, got one to go too). The food is only matched by the small family atmosphere and the great friendly staff, including the owners who were there and stopped to say hello and welcome us on our first time there. This is a great new local gem!
My wife and I had the wedge salad with grilled shrimp. The salad had very tasty blue cheese with real bacon and candy roasted pecans. The blend of the three ingredients was a very surprising and tasty experience. The grilled shrimp were perfectly seasoned and made the meal a culinary delight. The owner gave us a cup of crawfish corn soup that was really good. It was her grandmother's recipe and she was proud of it. After tasting it, I understood why. We then ordered the bread pudding and it was a huge piece and reasonably priced. We were going to eat a few bites and take the rest home. Well that didn't happened because we ate the whole thing. The owners were very friendly and the service was great. We will be back to try some other items on the menu.
Absolutely delicious if you’re into Cajun food. You’ve got to try the bisque. I’m buying a gallon and taking it home. The gumbo rivals my uncles gumbo which is the best I’ve ever had. If I lived in Frisco this would be my go to place!
Authentic Cajun food made with love. The owners are so friendly and provide great service. The meat pies were AMAZING! Hubby and I are definitely coming back to this restaurant. WHO DAT!! ????⚜️????⚜️
