Walters Tavern

This tavern was very cozy. The bartender was great and very friendly. I ordered the Fish Plate which was perfect. The fish was crisp and flakey. Excellent service.

Excellent food. Clean environment. Friendly servers. Relaxed atmosphere. A great place to get a good cold tall draft beer. Mmmmmm

I loved that they have a separate area for indoor smoking. The bar looks great & there is a separate bar in the smoking area. The decor is real loo y nice especially for a bar that size. Main problem is the restroom. It is SUPER tiny. They squeezed 2 stalls into an area that should have only been 1. No handicap restroom.

Hands down the best food in Texas the stuffed catfish is to die for ! We have eaten most of what’s on menu and it’s absolutely wonderful! The most friendly staff and most inviting atmosphere ever! Love this place

The kitchen is finally open from 11-2 for lunch and 5-9 for dinner. I've got to say Walters Tavern is all around amazing. The food is out standing and reasonably priced. All the staff is very friendly and very attentive. I recommend Walters to EVERYONE!!! Also the outside bar is just beautiful covered and air conditioned???? Swing by and check out this establishment you won't be let down.
