It's not the cleanest place you'll ever see and the building and its contents are obviously getting on in age. That being said there's not a kid that goes there that won't have a complete blast. They also serve food and drinks and they have services to host parties such as birthday parties and parties for small children etc. for the price you pay it's an incredible deal because it's actually quite cheap and your child will be willing and able to play in there for hours on end.
We visited (Monday mid-day/early afternoon) with our 11 year old and her best friend (who is also 11 years old). Lots of kids but not crowded. When we lived in the area, we were here quite often, especially on those 100 plus degree days. Safety: the adult(s) and the kid(s) are stamped. Your stamps must all match for the adult to leave with kids, even for regulars. Fun: kids can climb and crawl to their hearts content. All who want to climb/crawl MUST Bring Socks to play. There is a snack bar with concession stand type food and drinks. There is also an upstairs area, with additional seating, that includes an arcade/game area (games to be used with a re-loadable card that can be purchased at the front counter). Upstairs there is also a window enclosed room for parents only (for those seeking a quieter environment). Its easy to see kids playing from almost every section of seating. Inexpensive, safe and fun.
My kids loved it! The were able to run around in the jungle gym and adults are allowed in there too. Then when they were tired, there was a small "ride" section, mostly for 3 and under. Upstairs was a full arcade area which older kids would love. The food was what I would expect of a kids play place, pizza, nachos, etc. But it fed our family dinner and kept the kids happy after a long drive. I was impressed with the security too. Anytime anyone attempted to leave, an alarm would go off and staff would intercept. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and if we loved nearby, would return.
The staff was helpful. Very busy but amazingly still had no problem playing games or the kids having space to play in the arena. Only issue was that some rides were off or were easily turned off by a passing child.
Decent spot. My 5 great old had a great time exploring and running through the playground. Low entry price makes it decent. Not all games were working on the second floor. Probably 10+ were down on my visit. The cool part is you can chase your littles through the playground but also can sit and watch them easy enough since most of it is elevated. Not a bad option when it's cold and rainy and your kids need to lose some energy.
