Chill Bar & Grill Lewisville

I came with my fiance and her maid of honor to "Chill", have a drink and enjoy some live music. Everywhere I go, I do my best to ensure I can write a very insightful review.

Ryan helped me out with my concerns. I was very weary of letting staff know that the keg must be old because the beer tasted metallic.

After some understanding from Ryan, he offered me a drink to replace with the Shiner.

That was great, but what made my experience great was that he heard me. He made sure he knew which beer it was I had a bad experience with, I can tell he's going to fix this issue.

I'll be coming back and I'll get food and let the community know what I think! :)

Gave it two tries before reviewing. First time, food was good. Service was friendly. Drinks nothing to write home about. Wine list is inconsequential. Patio was nice. issue with first visit- server left us with the menu (paper and one time use- given the circumstances). When we called her back after deciding, she informed us the fryer was broken so they couldn't provide anything fried (which is a very good portion of the menu) both items we wanted were fried. Okay. Difficult times. Chocked it up to an inexperienced waiter or a last minute problem. She should have told us when we sat down or at least when we got the menu. Second time, food was OK, drinks were simple and fine and service was slow. I was glad to see they were somewhat busy. Good for them! We sat patiently for a while before flagging down a waitress to get drinks... and then once those were delivered AGAIN for menus. We were told to scan the QR code on the table to get the menu online. OK- pretty cool. Maybe you could put up a sign that tells people? Or start out with telling people that, Once done and decided, flagged down the waitress AGAIN and proceeded to order fish and chips only to be told NO FISH of any sort (and they have a few types) but maybe might have some shrimp and she could go check. AGAIN- How about notifying the patron ahead of time? How frustrating. It's a nice spot and has a great patio. But, I see no compelling reason to go back.

Food and drink was great! Staff is down to earth. Music was mix from 80s thru nowadays. VERY relaxed atmosphere! Kudos to them.

Hard to say how this place will go... but it's off to a great start. Will be checking out live bands and dancing. Good addition to the area.
