Ashley is friendly and an amazing bartender, go support and tip her good. She has a bright future ahead of her....
The hospitality was great! The hostess and server were on point. Very pleasant, no wait for anything. After that tho, it was downhill. The menus were dirty, the table was not cleaned well from last sit. I ordered a chicken fried chicken sandwich with fries and a cup of potato cheese soup. The chicken sandwich was huge to the point of being hard to handle, even cut in half. The breading fell off and the bun was burned. The soup was old and reheated, not a chunk of potato present. The fries were average. I gave three stars solely based on the service.
I have visited this Cotton Patch Cafe multiple times over the last couple of years.
The wait staff has always been prompt and courteous. The facility is always clean and well-kept. I've never had problems getting the seat quickly even then hire traffic times.
The variety of food has been very nice. They have old fashioned style Southern cooking. The chicken fried steak is very good, the steak that I had last time I was there was also extremely good and well done.
They seem to have some really good cooks that follow the recipes well. If you're in the area and in the mood for southern style home cooking, this could definitely be a place you would want to go visit. Prices are also reasonable for the various menus that they serve.
Located basically right across the street from Music City Mall in Lewisville they're very convenient if you're done with your mall shopping and want some good old-fashioned food. Give them a try.
Good home style cooking. Comfortable environment, friendly staff, moderate prices. This is one of the few places that has something for everyone in our family. Fried pickles?! Yes, they were tasty. It was packed on the weekend night we visited. Luckily there were children's books in the waiting area to keep our young one occupied. We'll be back!
