Viva la pasta has amazing service and amazing food! All the food is made fresh and homemade and is worth the price!!! I’ve come with my family and there is definitely something for everyone, definitely give it a try
Excellent pasta, garlic bread, and best surprise of all was the house bread rolls, they are better than the extra rolls. I do wish them good crowds and pray they can hang in until this viral scare disappears soon. Def 5 star
We came here to have dinner with friends, there were five of us. This place can seat groups of any size, although it is a bit limited so they would not be able to accommodate several large groups. We brought two bottles of wine and a few ordered sodas/water, so not much to review in the way of drinks (typical fountain soda, free refills).
The server was a very nice gentleman, he was super attentive the entire night. We were there about two hours. He greeted us at the door, prepared the table and sat us promptly. He took our drink order and came back with them along with our first bottle of wine opened and some wine glasses. Shortly after, he brought two baskets of HUGE garlic "knots," but these were the size of a giant cinnamon roll. The bread was cooked perfectly, although it was a bit dense. The flavor was delicious and the tops were buttery with a hint of garlic, perfect if you don't care to knock folks down with your breath afterward.
I ordered some Mozzarella Marinara ($8.95) for the table and it was tasty.
The cheese sticks were thick, warm and gooey. Served with marinara on the side, I didn't try it because I feel it overpowers the fried mozzarella but others at the table enjoyed it!
As for my entree, I got the Alfredo with Fettuccine and Shrimp ($10.95 + $4.00). My other half ordered the Al Pesto Genovese with Fettuccine and Chicken ($10.95 + $2.00). Both of our dishes were absolutely divine! There was ample sauce on the pasta, which we discussed at our table as rarely being the case at some other italian restaurants like Olive Garden. The sauce was slightly lighter in viscosity as well, so if you wanted to take some to-go, it seems as though it would reheat better. I can't leave out my clam chowder - it was so good, I would come back to eat that as the meal. I don't claim to be a clam chowder connoisseur, but this is not something you can find frequently in the area (at least that I'm aware of). I liked that I could order it as a side to my pasta, instead of a salad, and I didnt have to order it as an entire entree/bowl just to enjoy some of it.
With the wonderful service, great tasting food and ambiance, we will definitely be back!
First time coming in and very pleased! Service was great, bread and rolls were fresh, clam chowder was on point, and the pasta was delicious! My husband and boys shared a pizza which is a thicker crust (not thin crust like Brooklyn style) but still a pretty good slice of pizza. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Great new spot. Customer service is excellent and food is delicious.
