Gerardo’s Tex Mex Restaurant

Besides the fact that this place is a hidden gem it is by far the best thing that has happen in Pilot Point Texas. Owner's and his staff is a 100 out of 100. Highly Recommend this place to anyone for a important meal or just a place to eat after working all day in the heat. I'm a repeat customer and for life.

Good food, good waiters & waitresses the food is always awesome the only thing we didn't like what's a smell of fabulous or Pine Sol too strong for a little place like that but other then that it's a good place to eat .????????????????????????

Freshly prepared Tex-Mex dishes in a small quaint atmosphere. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Eating local is so much more interesting than eating at a chain.

Have had 2 great visits. The Texas Dinner and sweet tea were great both times. Service was phenomenal both trips!

Ate at Gerardo's today, the service was excellent and the staff was very friendly, but not much to say about the atmosphere. I liked that they gave 3 different sauces for the chips, red salsa, green salsa, and a bean dip. Unfortunately, for me, the sauces were bland. I had the enchilada lunch special, it came with a sour cream sauce chicken enchilada and a beef enchilada along with sides of beans and rice. The enchiladas were good, the rice was pretty basic and I had the charro beans, which were really good and were probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall, it wasn't the best Tex-Mex style food I've had, but it also wasn't the worst, middle of the road.
