Hard Eight BBQ

Very good barbecue with good gluten free options.

If you were to go over to a friend's house for BBQ, and I mean a good friend's house, I imagine it would be like going to Hard Eight BBQ. From a great pit where you line up cafeteria style and they serve you right there with a smile, to the fantastic, authentic, taste of the food.

I have to go with the brisket every time and theirs was fabulous. Enjoyed the pulled pork as well and the grilled corn on the cob was a treat.

If you have the chance, you will not regret giving them a try.

Upgrading my review - they have made it right by sending us a gift card for the $30 plus they provided an additional card for and extra $40...We loved the food - and Mary - and will happily return! Thanks Hard Eight!

Went for dinner tonight with a $100 gift card. Our party of three's bill was $70. Their machine was down and the manager (Amanda) told us we either had to get $30 more food or lose the $30. She would not give us change - nor would she offer to take our information to get back to us later. We asked her who she could call or what else could she do and she basically said tough.

I told her we would never return...she said nothing.

I do want to lift up Mary though who was busing tables. She is the golden gem in this place...and deserves to have Amanda's job. We would eat there once a week just to say high to Mary...she saved the night.

In the end, the establishment stole $30 from us. I know good employees are hard to find in this day. However, I also know bad employees are easy to dismiss. Your business depends on your customer's experiences. You either build net-promoters or net-detractors. Unfortunately, Amanda built three net-detractors tonight...it's a shame too...food was fantastic.

My family LOVES BBQ! And Hard Eight BBQ delivers exceptional quality as well as a REAL smoked BBQ experience.
Wow.... it's so difficult to explain.... basically, if you have visitors from out of town or if you are simply wanting some excellent food (with leftovers for later), Hard Eight BBQ is your choice.
Definitely in my lifetime TOP 5 BBQ places. You won't be disappointed.

I've been there for both lunch during work and weekend dinners. The place generally does a good business but the line moves quickly. The meats are very good and the price in line for the quality. Sides are nothing special but OK. They have pinto beans out as condiments which is different. Watch the polished concrete floors if you are in business shoes. You'll slide on the littlest bit of water or spills.

The steak was delicious and the best. My husband and I love eating here. Great singer and band. We'll keep coming back. Thanks for the awesome food, friendly, helpful staffs. Great service.
