Obviously a popular place with locals because the servers knew people by name and knew what they normally ordered. It’s a 5 star in the category of good roadside places to stop.

(May 21, 2022, 6:38 pm)Not expensive, not cheap. Smothered burrito just had ground beef and smothered in a chili and cheese. Came with small salad that consisted of iceberg lettuce and a few pieces of tomato for $10. Wouldnt come back unless in a pinch

(May 19, 2022, 10:24 pm)We found JD Steakout while traveling through the area by Googling restaurants. Wow! The steak was excellent, so tender, cooked just right! Friendly people, enjoyed our meal. Loved the cheesecake too!

(June 22, 2021, 10:33 pm)I am so happy we found this place while traveling back to California. Great, delicious food and totally recommend the cheesecake. True authentic Mexican food. The place was clean and our server Laura was very friendly. We got a chance to meet the owner he was very nice too.
