Delicious just like at home. Buffet is great on Sundays. Someone in the kitchen knows how to cook what Texans like. Fried chicken, meatloaf, catfish, pot roast with vegetables, bread, real mashed potatoes, chicken-fried steak, always a tasty dessert, and a nice little salad bar. And to top off the experience, a very thoughtful and helpful wait person. Truly a great place to eat. "Downtown" Gorman. You do need to try it!

The food and waitress were good. Ask for a drink menu before ordering. Dos A Rita’s cost $13.99 each. I never complain or comment on things like this just letting you know ahead of time.

Amazingly good food. Very friendly service. This place is worth a detour if it's not really on your way. Don't miss this gem!

My brothers and I met for a late Saturday afternoon lunch. They had great Mexican food dishes and I had a chicken fried steak that barely fit on the plate. We thought we were too full for dessert, but made room for home made pie. Friendly atmosphere and service.

Their chicken noodle soup may have been the best I've ever had. The broth was creamy and full of chicken flavor. the chicken chunks were tender and flavorful. And the dumplings were perfect.
The owner was super friendly as were the customers. We spent a third of our time conversing with everyone. This cafe is off of the highway - you have to drive through the old town to find it.
