El Malecon

8/20/2022: I ordered the Zihuatanejo with two enchiladas, a crispy taco with rice and beans.

All items were delicious and tasted hot and fresh. The chips and and salsa were perfect and the queso was amazing and one of the best quesos in Odessa.

The restaurant is very nice inside and not too loud at all, nice TV's mounted on the wall playing sports. The prices are fair as well and some items are a value.

I highly recommend trying out EL Malecon inside of Music City Mall in Odessa.

Molcajete de Pulpo is so good. I'll go back for it next time (100% recpmmended). Didn't like the chips fried in old oil. I didn't like the watery guacamole either.

Was skeptical since it was in the mall. But the molcajete and friendly service was on point. Pulpo 🐙 (octopus) was tender and delicious. I’ll have to try the drinks next time

Not your usual Tex-mex joint but pretty good especially if you like seafood. Chips & queso were good. I have always wanted to try this dish called a Molcajete it's a big hot bowl of whatever you want. I got a tilapia/shrimp/steak/onion,bellpepper, cactus & cheese combo all bubbling hot it was delicious 😋

This place is amazing. The atmosphere is perfect for an escape, it reminds me of rainforest cafe inside. There are plenty of places to take photos with kids. Food options were endless. Drink presentation is great. We will be back.
