Taqueria Guadalajara

I was really excited to try this place, especially when I discovered the staff is mostly Spanish speaking only. I love authentic fare from families who grew up with the food.

Too bad they grew away from it. The "salsa" lacked flavor and came from a ketchup packet. The meat was done cooking about yesterday and now was something between jerky and dehydrated rations. The rice wasn't too bad, but the beans came straight from the can.

Was really disappointed to see someone take so little pride in what they produce.

Fast service. I pulled up ready to eat at the restaurant and a waitress came up to my truck in less than a minute from me pulling up to the parking spot. I ate outside in their patio and I really enjoyed my experience. I had one torta Alambre, one small order of nachos de pastor, and a Mexican coke. The meat in both dishes was juicy, seasoned, and overall delicious. Service was top notch as well!

The food was delicious, we ate in our car, which to me personally felt awesome. Our waiter was super nice brought us our drink while we waited for our food. The food was freshly made. When we got it it was hot. While we were eating, our waiter came out to check on us to see if everything was ok and to ask if we needed anything. We came back later after shopping for some to go food, because we live 90 miles away. Will definitely return.

I have loved this taqueria for more years than I can count they are my go to when I have a craving. They have the best tacos de alambre (beef meat with onions, jalapeños,bacon and cheese) they also have great Mexican hamburger and tortas you can’t go wrong with a torta de estofado or ham. Oh and there carne asada cheese fries are awesome! They also have an awesome breakfast menu. If you haven’t tried it yet you are missing out.
