Cotton Eyed Joe's Restaurant

Love this place, we regularly come for breakfast, always good tasting food and good service.

Ambience was good, but food was mediocre. Hashbrowns was saturated in oil and cool to the touch, scrambled eggs were flat, brown cool to the touch. Bacon was delicious. Pancakes were basic. Syrup was half full and all sticky. I have to admit I was pretty disappointed to say the least. But on n a brighter note, the staff seem to be cleaning walls, entrances, door handles vigorously. Good job at sanitation.

Chicken fried steak very good, gravy good once you season to your own taste.
Steak and shrimp surprising in that the ribeye was marinated (very tasty). Shrimp was perfect, quite a surprise for the looks of the place. Very happy we stopped.

Cotton Eye Joes has friendly service and stopped here on our way back to Dallas. Good food and lots of it. Menudo was available as well. Pictured pancakes and the menu.

The food is decent. Taste on the fajitas is good. There was more onions and bell peppers than meat but I was expecting that so I also ordered a cheese burger with fries. There's certain plates you order and you get the free salad bar. First time eating here, will come back to try other plates.
