Ms.Pratt (owner)is a very pleasant and friendly person!! From the time we started the services for catering food and planning for my 60th Birthday Party she made sure that everything would come out perfect. Food was excellent and there were leftovers for everyone to take home. Maria ( cook ) was also very attentive and professional & makes delicious food. Last but not least the prices on the services was excellent!!

Theirs a few places like this in El Paso that we need to support and keep in business. I ordered the Fried chicken with green beans and red beans and rice, the problem it took more than 45 minutes to get the meal, but again your not at any fast food chain that they have it waiting for you sense the morning. Here it’s freshly made with care and time, you can hurry perfect fried chicken. Crunchy cooked just right, the green beans were the best I tasted in a long time, the beans and rice needed a little work rice to hard for me. The problem here I think it was a little expensive for me, 8 pieces of chicken and they were all legs with 2 sides $39.99, butt again am always looking for a bargain you know me. Well overall great place try it out you won’t be disappointed, am going back to try out the gumbo.

The southern hospitality of the staff was very evident! I had the lightly breaded, fried fish with potato salad which was very good 😋.
My friends had slap yo mama wings, ribs and 4 sides. I believe the system of marking the menu with a dry erase marker was a bit confusing for the owner/staff as we were asked multiple times what we ordered. Also the mac n cheese was not baked as expected.
Like I said, the staff was very polite, my food was good IMO, but my friends were not fully satisfied with their meals. Also our cornbread was not thoroughly cooked.
We'll give them another chance though 😊

Stopped by with my hubby and children and I’m so glad we did! Real family atmosphere, delicious food, chill music and good vibes! My pregnancy taste buds are hard to please and they were fully satisfied here. Southern hospitality done right!!! Thank you to everyone here and a special shout-out to Steve!

Food was amazing. We got the fried chicken, the ox tails, the ribs, the slap ya mama wings, the fries, the Mac and cheese and the collard greens. Everything was great, but the wings were out of this world amazing. The service was a little slow but so darn friendly that we didn't mind. I only got a couple of photos because the food didn't last. Will be going back we have to try everything on the menu.
