I went to the Mesa/Thunderbird location. The rush caused me to have to repeat my order more than twice. I ordered the 4 piece and was still only charged for and received the 3 piece. Additionally, when I received my sundae, it was not even a full sundae. I then received the condescending excuse that “hot fudge melts ice cream,” but the sundae had just been freshly made. They simply added an scoop never acknowledged the lack of internal quality control.
I'm from out of town but everytime I come to El Paso I make sure to go to boss chicken. I personally perfer to go into the store rather than the drive thru and the service is unmatched. I get spicy tenders big boss for myself and my fiancee gets lemon pepper and she's not really a fries person so they let us switch it for an extra piece of their wonderful toast. They even bring out food out to our table for us so we can just sit down and relax. After we finish our meal we get some chocolate custard to go, it's a great experience and one that I make sure to go back everytime i'm in town!
Made an impromptu stop here as I always wanted to try out this place. Overall it was a good experience, friendly cashier, the El Jefe combo was tasty, wanted to try both the Dogs and the strips, excellent choice.
The shake was too small for the price but it eats like a semi-melted sundae which tasted great. I’ll return and try a full order of the strips next time and go from there.
I’d say good value for the price, friendly service, it’s a win! Give it a try and enjoy.
Thanks, Rob :)
