The atmosphere was awesome, really enjoyed the bar area. The food was average to above average. Menu was big, plenty to choose from. We had the enchiladas and pastor tacos. Enchiladas were a little light on the seasoning side for the chicken and beef. Pastor tacos are on the menu alright, but also lacking the distinct pastor taste.
A large friendly Mexican restaurant that is filled with people and lots of different menu items. They had live music, and the place is decorated and fun. The chips and salsa arrive as complete deep fried tortillas that you have to break up yourself. Salsa is good. The food is just okay. Everyone in my party was not impressed. While eating my eyes started watering and I thought it was because of food, but it was they started cleaning in another room and the fumes made it rather unpleasant. Fortunately, I had already finished eating. The employees are great and helpful and keep the atmosphere alive
Albondigas soup and quesadillas were just ok, not great. Soup was served lukewarm. The ambiance was nice and festive. Our waiter came to our table once. At the end of our meal, we had to look for him for our check and had to ask another waiter for refills.
It looks somehow splendid from outside, but it's pretty normal inside.
While the food looks pretty normal by appearance, but it somehow pretty tasty 😋.
Ordered their Beef Burrito 🌯, the beef inside is chewy but tender, and the seasoning of beef is right on point, can definitely be your quick bite before the flight ✈️.
Place would be a solid 3 if not for being at an airport, gave it a 4 since it's really good compared to most airport food I have had in the last year. Chips were not homemade but good, salsa was good. Ordered Chicken Tampiquena (butterfly chicken breast topped with sauteed onions and green chiles. Served with red cheese enchilada, Spanish rice, beans and guacamole). Chicken was good, beans were good, red enchilada was good, rice was unexpected not traditional Spanish rice was not red but it was really good mixed with the beans and red sauce from the enchilada. Will stop by again when I have time to kill at ELP.
