The layout is pretty clean. The service is good. They serve some awesome nacho cheese. The overall taste of the food in my opinion is not my favorite. But considering it is Tex-Mex that is as good as it gets.
Another best Mexican food we had in El Paso. We literally went into food coma again. The ambience is also very enjoyable and lively.
On the outside of the building it looks nice, standing out from the rest of the small restaurants. But the inside is a different story. The decor makes it appear "authentic", which consists of some portraits, chandeliers, and some music in the background. I was new to this place, so I simply asked for a table for one. The first miss I talked to lead the way to table, soon calling a server for my order. Oh but how quick a server came by! Asked for my drink as she handed me a menu. I ordered and she served some tortilla chips & salsa, which was nice. Was impressed with how fast my food came. Only five minutes it took to come out. Ate my tacos, it wasn't bad. I do say the onions were a bit raw but not bad. Soon as I finished I asked the server for the bill, gave her the amount and tipped her. All in all, it was pretty alright and swell.
This is a great chain of restaurants. When my beautiful wife and I lived in Austin Texas. This was one of our favorite restaurants for date night.we love the food and the drinks here. The prices are affordable. My favorite is the Mexican Martini For drinks. And the chicken chicken boom boom enchiladas are my all-time favorite. But I have yet to ever order anything I didn’t like. Recommend them for a date night. Or taking the family out to dinner.
This is the place to stop if you traveling on I-10. Right off the freeway in the Fountains at the Farrah shopping mall. Food is made fresh with recipes from the original San Antonio restaurant. I ordered the #8 lite plate. Perfect for a smaller appetite. We also took home two dozen freshly made tortillas. I also appreciated the sanitized flatware. Very clean place.
