Denny's

Had dinner at Denny's tonight for my birthday. They went beyond to make sure that it was clean and safe. They kept tables separate so that customers were not sitting close together. We were able to get condiments upon request. To top it off all the food was delicious. Considering everything that's been going on in the world they made my birthday special, safe and so enjoyable. Thank you Denny's.

Rating it a 3 because one time went with aunt and uncle in afternoon and everything went smooth, to include good service, food was hot, etc. I remember hostess was a German lady and has a passion for her job. Then went with parents today, December 21st but in late evening. Our plates were ready but not served right away. Mashed potatoes were very cold as if they came out of refrigerator (got more potatoes and those were hot), creamed corn was cold, and turkey and stuffing were somewhat warm. Mom's soup was cold. Customers at another table returned entire plate to be warmed up. Cook (young girl with white highlights) put plate in microwave for 20 seconds (my mom counted seconds out here at table). Then another returned soup to be reheated. Was heated for one minute. When those customers left, they told my mom to enjoy her food jokingly because they knew that we received the same poor service. This Denny's needs some serious supervision. One of the staff members was just standing there staring in different directions. And looks like the cook also has to be the cashier. Won't be going back.
