Food overall is good. Portions are small. Took a picture. We had 2 tacos and 1 quesedilla. The staff is friendly and helpful. On the downside, I found the music annoyingly loud. Also, it would have been nice to know there would be a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, or I would have paid in cash.

I was served by Carla. I had fish tacos and shrimp tacos and cheesecake for dessert. I don't do peppers, onions, or tomatoes so my tacos look plain. They were good.

There are 3 Lapas in El Paso. This is one of my favorites. The service is good. Food is served fast. It helped that we were early for dinner. I always say that my wife is not adventurous when she sticks with her fav dish at a certain restaurant. This time it is I that does not try other dishes. I stick to my Campechana. Maybe because I remember when my dad took me to those Mexican seafood places in Juarez. This review has brought a tear to my eye. Well don't take my word for it. Go out and be bold and adventurous.

Today I brought my son in for lunch after his early release. We were invited to sit wherever we’d like. Our server brought over our menus and got our drink order right away and brought the drinks a couple minutes later. The unsweetened tea tasted fresh. Our service then brought us some chips and salsas. The green was tasty and not too spicy. The red Chile salsa was flavorful and more on the warm side. She also brought out consumé. It was warm temperature and had a bit of spice to it, but not overbearing. We ordered fried calamari and aguachile verde as appetizers. The calamari came out first with a delicious dip. It wasn’t too chewy and the batter was fried evenly. The Aguachile verde was delicious and had a great presentation. It was not spicy at all but full of flavor. It is a big order so I was happy to take some home for later. We ordered the Lapa tacos and the only regret we both had was not ordering 2. They are so good and we will definitely order again. We did get full off everything however and enjoyed our time there. We will return and I would recommend to friends and family.

My visit to Lapa Lapa left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the drinks were affordable and had a good kick, although they were on the sweeter side. The ceviche was a standout dish, featuring fresh fish and a pleasantly generous serving size that exceeded my expectations. However, the quesadilla was disappointingly overpriced and smaller than anticipated. The service and kitchen speed were also lacking, as they were both noticeably slow.
