Lulú's Cafe

On our first night in El Paso we meet a friendly police officer who told us if we are interested in local food with a Mexican flavor, we should go to Lulu's Cafe. He was right. We had a great noon meal of "Comida corrida"!

Wow delicious food and good service. Food takes a little while to arrive, but very happy with the tastes and flavor. Overall would definitely recommend.

Lulu's serves authentic Mexican food. They have a simple menu, but everything is made fresh to order and at a great price! The tortas are to die for, but my favorite are their red enchiladas

Everything about this place reminds me of good, homemade, Mexican food. Lulu has passion over what she does, and she's darn good at it. My mom is an amazing cook, and she absolutely loves coming here, which should speak for itself.

The attention she pays to the food, as well as customers makes dining here a wonderful experience. You can request, modify, or ask for anything and if she has the ingredients required, she'll work her magic and blow your taste buds away. Something wrong with your order? She'll happily correct it.

Give this place a try, you won't regret it, and you will come back! Did I mention that she's the owner, as well as the only one that touches the grill? Passion!

If you're a fan of spicy food like I am, she'll kick your ass upon request with her amazing habanero salsa.
