Manhattan Heights Tavern & Grill - El Paso

We greatly enjoyed our visit. Large windows for an open feeling. Had the Seabass and it was delicious. At the table was ribeye which was a bit undercooked, still excellent came with an ajou sauce. Also tried the salmon Ceaser and it was perfect. Cream brûlée is done right, as is the chocolate mousse.
Service is very competent, and the whole experience was worth the price.

This location was not what I was expecting. Came for a casual romantic date night but this place is more suited for upbeat events, parties, group events. It was presented to me as a steakhouse but I would consider this a hybrid bar with a full kitchen. Louder than I expected which made it hard to carry a casual conversation. The food is about average for the location which can be hit or miss depending on your tastes. Tried 7 different menu items and 4 different drinks each. The drinks were good. The atmosphere (minus high bass ratio and limited sound attenuation) was pretty good. We will try this one again with bar hopping in mind for the next review.

Manhattan Heights Tavern and Grill is awesome. It has a very welcoming and perfectly lit vibe. Sat the bar with partner for a late evening meal. The menu is excellent and very affordable. I love a good restaurant bar and this place does not disappoint. Perfect date night, celebration place or better yet, just a Martini! The staff and management are very nice and kept checking in on us.

We had calamari, ribeye steak, Chilean sea bass, asparagus, clam chowder and key lime pie. Most of it was delicious. The steak was not as great as their other location and the calamari was different. The sea bass was my favorite. So glad this style restaurant is in our neighborhood. Looks like a patio is coming soon. Can’t wait for that to open up. Looking forward to many more visits.

The entrance is facing the junction, you feel the vibe and ambience upon you walk in, wooden interiors smooths and cools you down

Ordered their 16oz Ribeye, medium rare, well grilled just on point, and their Geske Salad, OMG, so freshly good, not to mention the Caprese, everything was just perfect.

Manhattan Heights Tavern is just was El Paso needed. Great location and outstanding food and service. Location is perfectly centered in the Five Points area. Restaurant bar is spacious with amazing drinks. Bartenders are fast and friendly. Our server, Dylan was friendly and efficient (our drinks were never left empty)We started off with the smoked salmon appetizer which was amazing. It was served cold with sides to enhance the flavor. Our main dish was the filet with three jalapeño bacon, wrapped shrimp…OUTSTANDING! The filet was an amazing piece of meat. True quality. We had a dinner salad and a cup of clam chowder. The salad was packed high with fresh vegetables and topped with a bread crouton. Clam chowder was perfectly filled with flavor. This is restaurant we’ll continually visit. Hands down five star restaurant.
