Best Chinese restaurant in town! Prices are good for so much delicious food that is prepared on a plate. Staff is friendly & great atmosphere! I drive far northeast to order Royal Pandas because they truly serve you as Royalty!
We were very happy with the food at Royal Panda. We've tried the Pepper steak, Orange Chicken, Lo Mein Chicken. The Orange Chicken needed more flavor but was good. The Hot and Sour soup was Awesome loved it. One of the best ones here in El Paso.
Service was very good and friendly. We highly recommend this place.
The food was really really good. Everything came out like it was just made, portions were big, and everything tasted great. Our server and staff was very attentive, and made the experience even better. The food is kind of pricey for just me and my wife we spent $40 but we did get shrimp and noodles. Either way I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Good Chinese themed food. We ordered 4 different dishes and they were all good although a bit more expensive than the typical Chinese place.
Orange chicken - flavor and texture set this dish apart for mixed reviews. First, nice they use real orange peel strips in the dish adding a very nice orange flavor far above most places and even Panda Express. At the same time they use chicken which was a bit tough which is sort of the let down. Getting the texture right on the chicken would make this dish outstanding. As is it is good.
Sweet and sour chicken - nice large chunks of peppers and pineapple set off with the chicken. Best part is leaving the sauce on the side allowing us to choose how much for each piece rather than drowning the food in sauce. Very good dish.
Shrimp fried rice - biggest shrimp I have seen in a dish like this. Makes for a powerful shrimp flavor which for us is great. Could use more egg pieces but that is just being picky. Overall the rice is nice and soft, nice subtle flavor, real pieces of bean sprouts, peas and carrots made this our favorite dish of the night.
Cheese wontons - a let down. Bit overcooked. Flavor on the roll was good but the cheese portion was underwhelming. Won't order these again but weren't terrible. Just not our flavor.
Overall, much better than the previous place it replace. Price is higher than other options but the portions were nice. For being close we will visit regularly. Next time will try for delivery as for our first trip we did take out.
The inside itself isn't anything special. Doesn't add anything to the experience at all. I'd save the tip, do take out and enjoy with a movie.
