Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ

Very very good. Ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. The gentleman working are super polite and check in to make sure everything is good. Never seen a food trucker take that extra step to check on their customers. Highly recommend. If I were pass through El Paso again, definitely coming back.

I have watched this man demonstrate how to help thousands of people cook great BBQ and not to be afraid to make your own sausages, ribs, bacon, or brisket! I had the pleasure to stop by his family establishment today. I wasn't able to see Joe himself, but I did get to meet his wonderful brother! Great atmosphere, great people, and most of all, great food! I hope that the planets will align with where we can stop by again sometime in the near future! Thank you Joe please keep up the great work!!

I passed this spot 5 or 6 times while running errands in El Paso without even realizing how close I was to delicious food.
I judge my BBQ based on its need for sauce, and trust me, this moist melt in your mouth goodness doesn't need it! I got the brisket and pulled pork, for sides I choose the creamiest mac and cheese EVER and beans. Then I added a jalapeño muffin, which again was so delicious that it could have stood alone. To top it off, I got the banana pudding, which was like a fluffy whipped cream with generous banana slices. Oh so decadent!
I highly recommend this hidden gem, it is such a find!

Food truck that serves the Best Brisket I’ve ever tasted in my life.
(I said it, come fight me).
I’m telling you, went there and ordered some Mac and Cheese but they gave me a piece of the brisket and I went ahead and bought a pound.
It was that good!
A bit on the expensive side but it’s well worth it.
Lots of outdoor seating but limited parking.
Next to a drive through liquor store.
Come try this food, you won’t be disappointed!
