So I’m here now at 7:12 the Female who took my order today was super rude on her phone while I was ordering to the point she didn’t even know what I told her. The food is good they just need to pay attention to detail when it comes to peoples orders. I asked for corn only for the sides the day before and got sausage egg and potatoes. I came back because the guy from yesterday was super helpful and they were both welcoming as that was our first day coming. Usually I don’t care But I don’t like her rude attitude or the fact that she couldn’t wait to use her phone until after. I’ll find another seafood spot until they get it together
I cannot express how impressed I am with Trap N Crab in El Paso. This was my first time trying their boil and it was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the shrimp and crab legs to go, and let me tell you, the serving size was more than sufficient for one person. I even have leftovers, but I have a feeling I will finish it all very soon simply because it is that delicious. The flavors are bold, the seafood is fresh, and the overall experience was top-notch. I will definitely be coming back for more. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-try. 5 stars all the way!
I had the lemon pepper wings and fries. My fries were cold by the time I got to my hotel room which was only about 3 miles from the restaurant. They were so dense and dry, they weren’t worth trying to nuke. The lemon peppers wings had a good (but salty) flavor that would have been even better if they weren’t swimming in oil or butter not sure what it was. I tried it. Not sure I would go back next time I’m in town. My mother ordered shrimp. It looked good but I cant say since I didn’t try it.
The food is “ok” we got the secret not so secret fries, mac n cheese, fried chicken and crawfish. For the chicken we got the Hennessy sauce and Cajun sauce on the side, glad we did. The Hennessy sauce is subpar but with some refining it could be good. The secret fries were good but the sauce they put in it is a bit tangy. Fried chicken over all plain no sauce was seasoned good! Crawfish again had the same cajun sauce which is over bearing in tanginess, wasn’t able to finish the plate. Mac N Cheese was pretty good. Overall I asked my friends we had over would we try again they said no. For about $70 we expected better. They also had no faygo sodas which was an bummerOverall rating I would give a 5/10. Recommendation is to refine your sauces as they are overbearing in every way. Good luck!
