Tugboat Fish and Chips 22

Rather eat here during Lent on Fridays. This is now my favorite place to go to for lunch during work days. I just happen to come inside with my wife and we were impressed. Having worked in many sushi bars in San Diego, it’s always the hole in the walls that will surprise you. This one from the outside you would think is a dive but on the contrary, once you step inside it’s an immediate transformation as if you were in a cartoon in that goes from looking Ewwwww to a WOWWWWWW!!!!!

This was my first going Tugboat and I'll definitely be going back. The food was really good. The Restaurant was clean and the service good.

Food is delicious! And place is always clean. Also do enjoy the environment very much. Their menu had grown which is also a big plus.

You get a lot of food for reasonable prices. The scallops are delicious. The fish pieces are much bigger than expected. This place is decorated very cute in a nautical theme. The cocktail sauce and the tartar sauce tasted homemade. The vegetable basket had nice sized pieces of vegetables also very delicious. This place is also very clean. Next time I'll save room for dessert. We will come back here again.

Beautiful Northeast Hidden Gem for Fish & Chips!
Came for the 1st time and thos place pretty charming with a boat like decoration!
We ordered 2x 2 fish Combos which came with fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and a drink for $10.99 each.
????????The fish is , juicy, delicious and crispy!
????????the Coleslaw is sweet with great flavor
????????The fries are your Variety Burger joint fries, but good nonetheless.
????????The downside to the combo is no free refills for soft drinks, just a $0.60 refill fee for Tea.
We also ordered the Vegetable Tempura for $5.99
????????The veggies are juicy and not crazy oily.
????????The batter is the same batter as the fish and not actual tempura batter.
They also serve fresh sushi which was delicious as well.

It does get crowded but the turnaround is pretty fast too.
