Super neat spot in horizon! The chef and staff were super nice and welcoming! Menu was very intriguing lol. Ordered the Mctwist, Oh yeah, and killa something-or-other. AND they gave me a complimentary salad for the wait! We didn't even wait long though chef had our order done in a very timely manner! All in all everything was bomb diggity! Will definitely be dropping by every so often!
The environment is very cool, something different. The food is great and the presentation is always fun. Have been here twice now and the food doesn't disappoint! Support local!
We got to enjoy such yummy food. Yes yes rolls seem to always be the same rice, fish/imitation crab, and seaweed but although yes SushiPlug has OG rolls they also have their own creations and honestly I recommend giving this place a try even if you want to just order for delivery. Currently they don't have a fountain drink so be prepared to pay for canned/bottled drinks but who knows the bigger this place grows I'm sure will have changes in the future.
They have a rad menu and I just cannot say enough how good this place is!
If ya pay with card just know you might need to pay a fee so if you can pay in cash I'd recommend doing that 😉
A lot of rolls are shareable so getting like a combination for two people is good but I do recommend The Gil Special and their original bowl if you're not about sushi.
Great experience, staff knows the menu well, very friendly. Interior is somewhat simple, not a big restaurant. Food is surprisingly great, different types of sushi rolls, few options of nigiri, also sushi burritos for different diets and appetites. The chef has a true passion in food, it takes time to wait for my order, but everything is made to order. 100% worth visiting.
We had a great dinner here at Sushi Plug, a small restaurant in an Eastlake shopping center. We were greeted by both the waitress and the chef. Received a complimentary fresh salad soon after we ordered. Our main order came out on a wooden charcuterie board, beautiful presentation! Sushi was yummy, and the price was right! I especially liked the Crailtap. Danica was very attentive and kind. We look forward to trying new rolls in the future! Make sure to stop by and show them some support!
