Waffle House

We stopped in on our way back home from the Houston Livestock Show. It was late. We had just a little wait until we got a table. We were told by on of the wait staff that they would seat us as soon as something was available. It did not take long. The waitress we had was really nice and on top of her job. We got our food pretty darn quick. She did not let any glass get empty. The meal was good and it was a great place to stop and grab a meal on our road trip. We will probably stop in again when we are in the area.

Awesome place. Small and cozy. Great food and employees. Irene was the best waitress. Great to see a whole group work togather.

My husband ordered his usual, grits, eggs, and chicken breast. The chicken is always seasoned and cooked just right. It's consistent at every Waffle House. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was near and clean. I always love the way the servers at the Waffle House in general acknowledge your presence from the moment walk in until you leave.

This is a busy place and no wonder. Since it has fewer seats than many restaurants, I think the idea is to get you in and out as soon as possible. But, the wait staff was very courteous and prompt. The food was very good and plentiful. The price was also reasonable.

Stopped here on a road trip for breakfast and, as usual, I was not disappointed with Waffle House. I did not have to wait long to be seated, the food was delicious, and it got out to me quickly. On top of that, my waitress was so friendly and the jukebox had plenty of good music. No complaints about this Waffle House.
