Johnny Carino's

Troy was our server and he did an amazing job! Our drinks were always full, and our food was brought out right away. My daughter didn’t like her fettuccine because she said that it tasted strange. Troy noticed the look on her face and over heard us talking. He asked if everything was ok and we said it was fine. Next thing we knew, the manager was over there checking on us. We finally told him that the fettuccine didn’t taste right. He went and made her a brand new serving. It was much better. Troy was very observant and knew we weren’t happy with something. Instead of just going with our first response of everything is fine, he went above and beyond to get his manager and make sure we liked our food and were happy!

My wife and I are new parents who have both spent many years working in restaurants. Therefore we are quite picky and somewhat of a difficult table. I ordered an off menu item which I believe has been unavailable for some time now. A very nice manager name and made it for me and it happened to be the best I've ever had in about 15 years of eating at Johnny Carino's service provided by it first Lizette and then Michael was excellent and the food was great. We're glad to drive the 30 miles it takes to get here if the food and service are always this good.

So Superbowl weekend was a busy time in the Hatch, our group of 8 was out to get dinner celebrating a birthday. The first place, which we moved on from said it would be 45 min, we waited and nothing changed, so we moved on to our next venue.

Carino's said that it would be a 45 minute wait, and it was roughly that long, we didn't keep our eye on the clock.

Trey, the host at the front was very kind and very busy. He was doing a lot more than just being a host that night. He kept us updated and got us seated as soon as he could.

I believe Daniel was our waiter and he was very kind and promptly asked us what we would like to drink, and we were pretty much ready to order since we had waited a while. Food did take a little longer to come out, but not a problem. We were in fact very grateful for the staff and they did an excellent job. Food was delicious, we ordered some pizzas, which were large enough for me plus an extra 2 slices left over.

I wish more people were understanding and patient, we live in a world of instant gratification.
Only reason I give 4 stars is this. They may have been a little understaffed, but the staff that was there was fantastic, a few more good people and they would have been in great shape.
