    This is our favorite place for chicken fried steak. Occasionally you may get one with some gristle but not very often. It’s flavor cannot be beat, and putting gravy on the bottom leaves the batter nice and crispy. This is the first place my two boys want to go when they’re visiting.

    Loved the chicken fried steak and waffle fries! The breading wasn’t heavy on the chicken fried steak, and the waffle fries were light and had a good flavor. The pancake was incredible, you could taste cinnamon. One of the best ones I’ve come across! No homemade desserts bc the baker retired but worth a stop.

    THE best chicken fried steak you can get! And wonderful homemade mashed potatoes. We took a delicious chocolate cream pie to go. Well worth the extra time to go there.

    Enjoyed the lunch special—small CFS with three sides at the amazing price of $7.50. Great fried pickles and onion rings appetizers. We each tried a slice of pie—generous servings, delicious taste with excellent crust. Friendly service!
