COME ON THROUGH FOR SOME GOOD FOOD,GREAT SOUTHERN SWEET TEA!!
Good food. Love those rolls and gallon of sweet tea
Sunday Fried Chicken???? after church! Woohoo! ????Chicken was crispy & tasty. Hubby had the 3 piece meal (breast, leg, thigh, mashed potatoes, country gravy, fries & a roll) and I had the 2 piece meal (thigh and wing, mashed potatoes, country gravy, corn on the cob & a roll). Both meals were good. Chicken was crispy and moist. The thighs in both meals were a little greasy than our taste but the other pieces were great. I would have preferred a little more seasoning in the breading. Corn on the cob was juicy, no additional butter was needed and I got the last one available, so obviously an item in demand.
Staff was friendly, and the inside was clean, including the ladies restroom ????.There is a small banquet hall in the back for large meeting parties (up to 50?) and they also offer catering. Ice cream ????and cobbler are also available for dessert.
I will stop by again when I am coming through town on business, plenty of room for parking, including large trucks on the side of the restaurant.
Good food and good people here.???? I hope this has helped you, if so please give me a ????thumbs up & also check out my photos. Safe travels, God bless you and God bless our America!
They serve fried chicken which is good, but nothing special. If you get to the restaurant within fifteen minutes of the chicken being cooked, it is fair. French fries and fried okra taste like fried chicken and vice versa. Green beans are loaded with garlic and onions. Biscuits are usually fresh baked.
Since it is the only place to get fried chicken in Marlin, you don't have a choice.
Pretty basic fried chicken. Staff didn't seem very enthusiastic about life and they were out of honey for the rolls. I didn't try any sides but they looked good.
