Really smoked moist meats, I was passing by and decided to try them I will be coming back for a second round of chicken and sausage. the brisket was cooked to perfection and very meaty ribs. the smoked flavor present and strong.

No frills, just great food ! The brisket and sides (green beans, corn, and coleslaw) were excellent. I would love to have the corn and tomato recipe. I highly recommend this place even if it’s a bit out of your way.

Chicken fried steak today on Wednesday for the lunch special I had pulled pork also great selection of chicken barbecued. Also they accept Visa and MasterCard and I'm sure other debit cards as well. I highly recommend Peter's BBQ. This is a very community-oriented place with communal tables, you never know who will be sitting next to you. That is where the fun is. God Bless America.

Typically very good I've been there a number of times going between Austin and Houston. Today the meat was a bit dry but that is not that usual. I had brisket and sausage and both were a tad dry. The new potatoes were incredible the coleslaw is great and the green beans were very good to a great place to stop between Austin and Houston. Good service as well, friendly.

Their Lunch Special with 1/2 lb of meat and 3 sides for $9.95 is a good deal and enough food to share.

They have a great looking buffet with lots of meat and sides. I enjoyed it once a while back. I'm usually not hungry enough at the times when we stop by.
