(April 13, 2019, 11:29 pm)Nice country store and restaurant. I had the buffet with BBQ ribs, chicken, and much more. Best deal you can find for BBQ. Plus it was finger licken good. Wife had chicken fried steak with a big pile of mashed potatoes. Go get some.

(March 30, 2019, 4:06 pm)We always stop here between Houston and San Antonio. Great food, jerky, smoked pork tenderloin, breakfast sausage and cheese in a roll. Clean bathrooms, gifts, restaurant, bakery, and deli snacks. Been coming here over 35 years. Friendly and hard working staff! A must see!

(February 24, 2019, 1:04 pm)Very quick service! We went on a Saturday about 1pm and the restaurant was full of people. We waited maybe 10 minutes to get our food! Food was excellent, and service was amazing. Such a great family place or a cute spot for date night!

(February 18, 2019, 5:58 am)I went there specifically for the Sunday Buffet.They were serving turkey and dressing as one of the food choices. They also had fried chicken, BBQ ribs,and their famous Oakridge sausage. There we're so many side dishes (veggies), I took a sampling of their green beans, sweet potatoes, and their German style potatoes (yummy).They had biscuits, dinner rolls and cornbread. Their salad bar was wonderful along with the desserts offered.
