    Great Experience! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was, like Tony the Tiger would say....GREAT! I went light tonight with Boudain Eggrolls, Cup of Sausage & Chicken Gumbo while the wife chose a house salad along with Stuffed Fried Chicken for the entree. Very good! Nice jazz music playing in the background. Definitely was a good choice for us tonight. Highly recommend this place.

    Tha Roux is Cajun through and through. The food was amazing. My wife had the Shrimp & Grits, while I had an amazing seafood eggplant dish. Yes, said I eggplant. While we were there, a table ordered their fried seafood platter. Platter is an understatement. This tray that looked like it needed two people to carry it came out of the kitchen.

    A hidden treasure, that is worth the drive to Katy, TX. You need to give this new place a try. We will be back again soon.

    First visit on Mother's Day 2021. Decided to give this new restaurant a try. It exceeded my expectations. Immediately seated. Drinks within 5 minutes and the bartender knows what he's doing. The food was bursting with flavors and nothing fell short. Every dish held it's own...we tried the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, salmon and that amazing eggplant, shrimp and pasta dish. It's so smooth it melts in your mouth. Topped the meals off with chocolate cheesecake and bread pudding. Also delicious. Jazz floating through the air and friendly staff. If this sounds good to you then take a drive to old Katy and check out Tha Roux!!

    We are originally from New Orleans and this is what we have found to be the most authentic New Orleans cuisine in the area! The patio is a great place to dine on a beautiful day. The soft jazz music indoors sets a great vibe. The food is amazing!

    Entrees run $25-$50. Appetizers are $10+. Limited menu options. Salad is extra. Sweet tea: $3.50. Inattentive waitress - she visited just twice - once to take my order and once to deliver the food. Food prep took a long time. Once my crab-stuffed flounder arrived, it was plentiful and delicious. Overall, a mixed review.
