Triveni Supermarket

First time visit and I really like this supermarket store. Clean and fresh vegetables were there and very well organized. Paan leaves, banana leaves, neem leaves all were there. All kind of spice’s and lentils and snacks are available. You can find more different brand varieties excepts Deepak, Laxmi. There aisles are really well organized and everything is in their place. If you r looking for desi snacks this is the place to go. They have their own brand fresh snacks and packaged one too. Large and variety of Aata brands and Rice were there. So many frozen food options there.
The triveni restaurant which is in the store is really nice and big place and clean. You’re not allowed to take your cart in the restaurant which is a good option. They have live dosa after 5pm and chaat specials also after 5pm. Variety of chaat options, drink options and their menu is really has a lot options. They do have fresh sweets options too( desi mithai). The highlight of the restaurant for me was PASTRIES 😋. If you really like Indian style Pastries taste you should try. Black Forest , pineapple , butter scotch etc so many pastries options u will get. Do check this Indian grocery store out.

Not a very good taste to be frank! The quantity of the food is good for the price! Less wait time after ordering are all few advantage! You can try once and it’s worth trying!

One of the biggest Indian store in the surroundings of Katy. Good meat, grocery and food. I have visited this food court many times and they are no complaints as of now, but they can improvise there thali menu and the dessert with it is worst. Overall it’s really a good supermarket.

All Indian groceries available here. Fresh vegetables available here. Also this store is selling Fresh Halal meat. They have chicken and lamb available. Onion Bajji is their delicious snack. Also onion Pakoda is famous here. They sell pastries, cakes, sweets, chat, juices, Falooda, Dosas and Bonda. They also sell different curries both vegetarian and non vegetarian curries. This store also selling kitchen utensils and more. There is lot of parking space available.

Triveni Supermarket is a new addition to the area and offers a wide range of options as an Indian grocery store. The store is quite spacious and has a lot to offer.

One thing I appreciated was the availability of curries to-go, which provided convenience for quick meals. They also have fresh halal meats, which is a definite advantage.

Compared to Patel Brothers, the prices at Triveni Supermarket are a little higher. However, since there is no Patel Brothers in the Houston area, it fills a gap in the market. Houston's Indian stores are generally smaller in scale, so this store has the potential to change the game.

The only concern I have is regarding the oils used for frying in the kitchen. As someone who prefers to avoid seed oils and vegetable oils due to potential inflammation, I would like confirmation from the management about the specific oils they use. If it turns out they use peanut oil or a healthier alternative, I would be more inclined to give a higher rating.

The store is clean, being brand new. For now, I'm rating Triveni Supermarket with 3 stars. However, if the management can confirm the use of healthier oils for frying, I would consider increasing my rating.

Overall, I'm glad to finally have a good Indian store in Katy, and Triveni Supermarket has the potential to become a go-to option for Indian grocery needs in the area.
